Our Purpose
Fresh Start Ministries International was born out of the desire to bring hope to the hopeless in Uganda through ministering to the body, mind and spirit. Life in Uganda is a struggle for the majority of the population. We seek to bring some relief and a fresh start to that population. Our aim is to help the young, old and all ages in between. No matter what stage of life they are in, they are deserving of help and comfort.
BodyDuring our time in Uganda, we have encountered many people who have physical ailments that keep them from leading a productive life. We want to come alongside them to see if there is a way to change that. When the body is healed, it changes a person’s circumstances.

MindWe believe that one of the best ways to combat the cycle of poverty is through education. A good education can open so many avenues to those we seek to serve. Through child sponsorship we can place children, teens and young adults in good schools. For young mothers or grandmothers who are caring for their grandchildren, we hope to teach them craft skills or trades that they can use to supplement their family's income.

SpiritMost importantly, we aim to preach the gospel to those we meet. we integrate faith based discussions with our child sponsors. It is through a
relationship with Jesus Christ that this fresh start is possible. We are who we are today because of the work Jesus Christ has done in our lives. He alone enables us to move forward in this life. |
